Denmark moves up to 5th place globally within technology

We have moved up from number 10 in international analysis – but the Swedes and the Icelanders are better.
Denmark ranks fifth internationally when it comes to access to good Internet connections and mobile telephony, writes Berlingske Business.
Sweden tops for the second consecutive year on World Economic Forum’s annual list whereas Iceland ranks second. Switzerland and Holland follow and Denmark has moved up from number 10 to number 5. Moreover, Norway as number eight has also been included in the global top 10.
WEF is analyzing eight factors including the number of mobile phone subscriptions, legislation in the technology sector, and how companies have adapted the technology. 11,000 business people in 131 countries participated in the survey.
WEF points out that the Danish government has prioritized technology which will help to create a technology friendly business climate.
